Renden

A TV2 series supported by the Danish Film Institute, Renden is a documentary about a forgotten corner of Copenhagen, where 130 residents live outside the system. Since the 1950s, family names and plots of land have passed through generations in a landscape of containers, sunken speedboats and self-built houses.

Now the city demands they adapt or disappear. The ultimatum splits the community and forces these authority-sceptics to organise. A story of loss and hope on the edge of Denmark.
